My passion for making the world a better place fuels me to creatively build bridges for each generation to DREAM BIG as they step into their purpose—without limits. It brings me great joy to create spaces where hearts heal, minds renew, and lives are not only transformed but beautifully reimagined.
The journey so far has been nothing short of extraordinary! Each year brings fresh insights, deeper wisdom, and a rising fire to breathe life into my dreams and help others realize theirs.
Established in 2015, Michele Okimura Consulting has increased my capacity to live my purpose through the power of the pen.
The life of a heroine, Queen Lili’uokalani, reached across time and has touched mine. Her brief reign from 1891-1893 was marked by profound love and unwavering sacrifice. She bore many heavy burdens with such dignity and hope. Her motherly heartbeat for the healing and flourishing of her people and her devotion to preserving Hawaiian culture still echoes today. As a gifted, creative songwriter and a woman of deep faith, she turned sorrow into song and pain into purpose. I carry her legacy close, aspiring to walk with a depth of compassion, courage, and a visionary heart for others that defined her life.
To date, several publications have been released, all focused on giving guidance to pursuing dreams and living out loud to our fullest potential.
Dancing with Father was written as an allegory of my healing journey – from the painful shadows of rejection and worthlessness to the light of purpose and identity. This father-daughter dance reflects the rhythm of my restored heart and invites girls and women everywhere to step into healing, renewed hope, and greater joy.
The Birth of Explicit Movement: Discover Keys to Your Purpose shares the timeless wisdom and powerful insights I uncovered through a challenging, miracle-filled journey of pursuing my first big dream—impacting youth and community leaders on a greater scale. This book is an invitation to dream boldly, embrace your calling, and step into your purpose with courage and a sense of adventure.
Upon the launch of the Dream Big Journal, I traveled throughout Hawaii and the US, presenting at schools, conferences, and community organizations, with the addition of retreats that began in 2024.
Founding Releasing Generations and serving as its Executive Director has been a profound honor.
Alongside my incredible team, we empower youth, adults, and global leaders through workshops, conferences, and creative sessions, elevating personal growth, cultivating healthy relationships, and inspiring people to dream big in our local Hawaiian community and beyond.
Creative collaborations led to the release of the Brave Series, which includes Brave & Beautiful, Brave & Bold, and Brave Together.
This powerful curriculum equips teens with purpose, leadership skills, and tools to protect themselves from exploitation.
Side-by-side my husband, and life partner Rob and I pastored Lifespring Church in Honolulu, Hawaii, for 23 years.
We share our lives with two adult children, Aaron and Jessica. After 14 years as an elementary school teacher, I still love to express myself through creative endeavors.
I long to awaken every generation to the beauty of their profound value and the power of their purpose so they may flourish in life, build meaningful, healthy relationships, and rise with courage to pursue their dreams.
From children to adults, my passion is to ignite vision and empower world-changers who leave lasting legacies of love and impact.
